But yeah, I can see why Blinky's work is the way it is. This is one of the most fun things I've drawn/painted in a while.

BUT! Blinky's ghosts (lately) seem to have only been used as currency or snacks, kept in sacks and maimed. Thus, retribution.

Permanent marker, watercolor, & goache on watercolor paper.

very nice fanart... at first I was a little confused because I thought this was a work of blinkyboy. You shall not confuse me mister. But it's cool, especially the Mario part.

i always thought "fanart" was pieces of art created for celebritys or musicians, by over-obsessed fans?

Well, I see it as anything that is someone elses character that you're using for the purpose of tribute. Not "for" the artist.

Deviantart's description is "Paintings based on an existing work. For instance, characters owned by Marvel comics being painted in original positions as homage to the original creator."

Is this the reason that a lot of stuff isnt uploaded to club-ugly? Because the quality of most submissions is low? I'm not really that upset about my stuff not getting accepted, in fact I'm starting to run into similar problems over at *TheSketchbookProject. It's just when the admins dont log in for a long time that makes me wonder. Maybe thats the nature of the beast (club-ugly). I never know if the account is going to become flaccid and unused or if it will writhe and fester in active glory. I havent submitted anything to my own account in a few months though. I'll probably do something for you guys though, if you're active again.
