I sorta lost any momentum I gained before 2009. I was sick and it threw me off, and even recently I haven't been getting enough sleep (for one reason or another). It was really starting to noticeably affect me. I got tired enough to finally get to sleep at a not-so-reasonable-but-very-reasonable-for-me time, and I felt a little bit better today.
So now I'm hoping I can get myself on track a little bit better. I'm setting robots aside for now, and I've more or less scrapped the calendar idea. This is not the kind of thing I can force myself to do within a time frame (at least, not something I can do well). And I'm always trying to test myself like that. I suppose it's kind of a good thing, because I can learn where my boundaries are. But if someone is interested in a calendar I might still submit one and will most likely finish out the calendar with ghosts. I was planning to submit the calendar to a different website though, because DeviantArt's calendars don't have any holidays on them (or moon phases for that matter), which was the complaint of someone who bought the Sparks & Epiphanies calendar a couple years back.
I'll go back to robots soon, but I need to stretch a bit. I feel like doing something else.
Thanks to

for being nice all the time. She really is the bees knees. You should go say hi and give her a cookie.
Also, thanks to everyone who participated in that chain feature journal thing. I still have spaces open if you want to be featured. I'll feature the work in this journal so ppl can see it.

Working on 'The Intercorstal' has been really inspiring though -- I've got a set of rules to work by and after that everything just flows on from that. And nobody on here seems to appreciate it, and in the past that would have bothered me, but I've given up trying to get any recognition on here and just use it as somewhere to keep my work on display, in case. And if nothing else, the pages I've done make great sketchbooks for my larger pieces -- I'd have never have finished my big Lolcats pic if I hadn't had my Intercorstal pages to hand.

I know for me Winter Break was hell cuz I couldn't sleep until 8am or something. But since school started I'm sleeping relatively at a reasonable time. I hope you get some more sleep and get a better sleep schedule.
