So I only worked 2 days this week and have been doing a lot of sitting around and a lot of sleeping. I've slowly started getting a couple of things done. The next day I work is Sunday and I don't work or go to school any other days next week. I'll likely be calling to try to get more hours on a couple of days.
My stupid printer stops doing anything when the ink runs out (including scanning). So I unearthed an old Canon scanner that I sold to my dad ages ago (that he forgot I sold him and that he never uses). I literally had to wipe a heavy coat of brown dust off of the cover. Then I spent about a half hour trying to figure out the drivers for this thing (don't know where the install disk is and I don't care to look). But it works like 3 times as well as my printer's scanner (and they're both made by Canon and the non-printer scanner is way way older).
Anyway, since I regained the ability to scan, I though I'd post some of the little stuff I've been doing. I don't feel the need to actually submit them to devart as they'd go directly into scraps anyway. So I used photobucket instead.

Sometimes I just grab whatever is near me and draw on it. Not often, but sometimes. One is a mild sauce packet from Taco Bell and the other is on the back of one of the unused pieces of that heart I did recently.
I also scanned hq images of Rob's sketchbook over at ~
DeadPost. Which is good in case some rat bastard decides to keep the book. I need to hurry up and send that thing, I've had it too long.
Oh yeah, I'm also a few minutes away from posting some of the first "real" work I've done in like 2 months that doesn't have to do with any side projects or simple doodles. Although I was feeling pretty loose with the drawings. The second one came out better visually, but I like the idea of the first one better. I'll have to do what Tom said and explore the idea a little bit more by doing more work in the same vein/vane/vain?
Which I have never really done unless it was a series, and even then, I'm exploring a very broad subject rather than a specific idea.
So I guess that's about it for now. Hope to see you
