Tension

Hope everyone is well. Things are changing around here again. Bit by bit. Hours cut at work forced me to find other things to keep myself busy. I went apeshit on some computer games for a couple of weeks there, appreciating them more. When I have a lot of money, I go and buy games that look fun and play them for the short time it takes me to become interested in something else. I went back to some of those ones that I had lying around and really went at them.

I also have been reading a little bit. Be careful when you mix thinking games, reading, being sick, and changing sleep hours. I conked out and slept with my shoulder at some weird angle. When I woke up my spine and shoulder were really sore. That has subsided a bit and my neck and both shoulders have taken over. Every so often my neck and shoulders clench and stay that way for about a week. Luckily the headache I had this morning was nothing a donut and two Advil couldn't fix.

I had a lot of energy once the headache went away and I used it to be annoying, but I felt really lucidly powered, like some kind of evil genius.

There has been drama at the house and tension at work. Work hours are going back to normal next week. I'm not sure if it'll be ongoing yet. I found out that it's still going to be about another month before my class starts. Even though I haven't been doing too much, that is a bit of a relief.

I'm thinking about getting a bike soon. I gave my last one to my mom to sell, and she sold it for way too cheap and gave the lock away with it (that I wanted to keep). I don't know though. I've heard you can open those U-bar locks with a bic pen tube.

I figure that a bike is the easiest way to get exercise without having to walk. (I don't want to walk too much more than I have to because I could hurt my foot again).

If you find yourself with time to burn or just plain bored, go to [link] . It goes to websites or pages that people have tagged as interesting or helpful or fun.
I got the toolbar thing for firefox and it helps boredom a lot. Also, there is this game that my dad found online that is called simply the "Bubble Spinner". It's sort of like bust a move but a little different and too damn addicting, but fun. [link]

I haven't really felt any strong artistic urges lately, which is probably one reason I still have Rob's book. So I'm just going to send it as soon as I can, instead of waiting to do more work in it. I can better understand a lot of the difficulties that the sketchbook projects have run into having finally been on the receiving end of a book. Not everyone can come up with something immediately. See pictures of Rob's book here. I might put up another shot from it after I have sent the book.

Do you like cardboard? Do you like ghosts? These things have never died and are perpetually awaiting submissions ~Cardboard-Love ~GhostCommode.

I've been digging some stuff in my watch, but it seems like every time I sit down and try to hack away at it, something comes up and I have to leave the computer. Here's some awesome stuff from the dev-watch that I have yet to "get to":

wow I wrote kind of a lot. I'll stop now.

I'm feeling damned optimistic today, five hours of sleep will do that, I think? I spend too much time on DA and it seems like all my favorite peoples are having similar times, lost of baaww journals and whatnot. Especially me. This winter sucked a lot but I think things will get better soon, for everyone. Just keep on keepin on, man.

Not owning a bike is probably the saddest thing ever. You should get on that, do some boozing at a bar or party, shoot your mouth off till you're sure you're not welcome back and then ride your bike home, triumphantly singing at the top of your lungs all the way home. Thats better for bad days than a thousand tropical vacations.

You're boredom killers are probably way better than mine, I'm out of books and suck at all video games besides tetris, all I do is pirate music and read 4chan, which is destroying whats left of any Midwestern wholesomeness thread by thread.

I hope to see new art from you soon, just start scribbling without any concern for what you're doing, something good will come out of it.

Your features kick ass, I really wish every user was able to post thumbs in their journal, browsing other peoples' features is much more enjoyable than sifting threw watchlists.
its not even fair how awesome ~bKokoska's stuff is, everything he touches is gilded with the brightest vomit I've ever seen.

Geez, how many gazebos do you she-males need?!

Spring is rearing it's head. It won't be long before my backyard looks like a New York City of birds and insects and flowers. I could have sworn I heard a news person say temps are going to be in the 90s here soon. I don't know if I'm ready for that rapid a change.

I can't wait to get a cruiser. I wandered to Target the other day and they had one cruiser in the crag of mountain bikes stuck to the wall. It looked pretty slick and was a little over $100, which didn't seem too bad since some of the mountain bikes were between 2 and 3. I want to see a better selection though, even if the one at Target was pretty and comfortable looking.

I've been itching to paint in goache or watercolor and then I remember that all my goache is mostly gone or dried up inside the tubes (?) and my watercolor is somewhat the same way. So I went to michaels (ugh) and got a decent looking watercolor tray set. Hopefully the paint will be decent. I'm still planning to go to art supply warehouse though and get things at reasonable prices (you hear that michaels!?). So I have some paint to last me until I can get to asw.

~bKokoska is something else. I like every single thing he creates. His work is very impacting on an almost creepy level (not to mention creepy subject matter) and has very eye-pleasing design and style.

Immerse your soul in love

Spring is here, hopefully to stay. We had some freak snow storm midway through last April.

I paid $20 for my last bike, it was like 37 years old according to the registration sticker, but I road that bastard drunk as hell all over three different cities. No one would steal it.
I bought my new old bike from a local shop that teaches local delinquents to fix used bikes, I paid around $150 for it and it rides like a dream.

I still haven't really done much water color stuff, something about it just doesn't work with what I do. I haven't been doing any painting or drawing of any sort for awhile now. Might be the nosleep.

its the nosleep
